CEO OF THE WORLD AT PUNTA LARICI
You can start from Pregasina, where you can drive taking the road to the left, just outside of the tunnel that goes to the Ledro Valley, or walking or by bike along the Ponale trail. In an hour, walking up through the woods and with some glimpses on the lake, you reach Punta Larici. The effort is rewareded by an incredible panorama, for sure one of the most wonderful of Lake Garda. The scenery is breathtaking, the view overwhelming: the dream of each instagrammer.

PONALE TRAIL
Head south from the Riva del Garda Hydroelectric Power Plant until you reach the beginning of the path on your right, before the tunnel. This trail winds along the lake, overlooking the water, with amazing views at every bend. Along the way you can have a cappuccino and relax a little in the cosy Belvedere bar. When you get to the bridge across the Ponale Valley, you can decide whether to go up to the right to Lake Ledro or go to the left to Pregasina (where you can take the public transportation back to Riva).

PICNIC AT LAKE TENNO
Lake Tenno is undoubtedly one of our favorite places, a magical and precious corner, perfect for a picnic immersed in nature. It’s a little lake surrounded by mountains and woods, famous for its unique color, changing from turquoise to emerald green. You can leave your car in one of the parking places along the road and go down the steep stairs that take you to the lake. Once in the area, the beatiful medieval town of Canale (that you can also reach walking from the lake) and that of Frapporta (the oldest neighborhood of Tenno) are always worth a visit.

PONTE ROMANO IN CENIGA
The Roman bridge of Ceniga is a place worth visiting during your stay in the Garda Trentino. There are several access roads to reach it. The easiest is to park your car in the parking place located at the entrance of Ceniga, on the road heading to Dro. Once you exit the parking place, you will find the indications to the bridge. You have to walk on a paved road until you reach it. It’s a fabulous spot, and the bridge allows you to cross the river Sarca, which rises on the Brenta Dolomites, in Madonna di Campiglio, and gets into Lake Garda.

BUSATTE - TEMPESTA TRAIL
Get ready for a unique experience. Starting from the Busatte Park, above Torbole, you cross a beautiful Mediterranean wood and end up on a steep mountainside right above Lake Garda. Along the most steep passages there are iron ladders (more than 400 steps) with a breathtaking view on the lake. Once in Tempesta, you can go back by bus, or walking on a forest road that goes back to the main trail and the starting point.

LIKE BEING ON THE MOON: THE MAROCCHE OF DRO
When you are in the middle of the Marocche, a huge glacial landslide, it seems like you are in a sci-fi movie, or in a desert on the moon. Driving on the road that goes to Drena Castle, follow the indication for Cavedine, on the left. This 2-hour walk starts from the parking place of the dinosaur footprints (which you can reach in a few minutes) and then goes on through huge rocks (with a view on Lake Cavedine), woods, vineyards; you reach the river Sarca and the Fies power plant, and then you go back through the surreal scenery of the landslide and to the parking place. Better take some water with you: like in all deserts, it can be really hot in summer.

ARCHEOTREKKING FROM RIVA TO CAMPI
You exit from the centre of Riva and you reach San Giacomo, where you find the start of the “Berghem” trail, which is a little difficult, with some steel cables and ladders in some parts, but spectacular. Along streams and little waterfalls, you get to the old village of Campi. From here it’s possible to reach the Roman archeological site of San Martino. On the way back, take the “Pinza” trail (402), that goes down through the wood, with the ruins of ancient churches, chapels and towers along the way, and with the view of Lake Garda always in front of you.

THE OLD MILLS OF TENNO
This trail is not very well signed and a little wild, but super fascinating. The fittest can start from the Varone Waterfall or from the old village of Cologna, taking the Gola path that goes all the way up to Tenno Castle. From here, close to the old stone fountain you find the beginning of the trail, and you go down through the wood until you reach the abandoned ruins of the old mills of Tenno. Once crossed the little Roman bridge, you go up the valley and back along the paved road (following the indications for Tenno), reaching the stream and then the castle again.

FROM THE VARONE WATERFALL TO LAKE TENNO
From the Varone Waterfall, take the Gola path up to Tenno Castle. Otherwise, once in the old village of Cologna, follow the main road for a few hundred meters, and from Volta di No take the cobbled road that goes to Tenno. The view on Lake Garda along the whole track is amazing. From the castle, you can visit the medieval borough of Frapporta and the ancient church of St. Lorenzo. Otherwise, only for the fittest, it's possible to walk through the vineyards all the way up to Ville del Monte and Lake Tenno.

PICNIC AT CASTEL PENEDE
Starting from the center of the town of Nago, above Torbole, with a short walk you get to the ruins of the ancient Penede castle, from where you have a beautiful view on Lake Garda. In a nice corner there's a comfortable table, where you can taste the delights that you can find inside our special picnic basket, enjoying a breathtaking view.
